![]() Not only do they look and sound great, but they are far more durable in terms of repeat viewings, than film titles. I love movies, but since getting HD DVD and Blu-ray, I have purchased more music / concert titles than I ever did on DVD. Nothing I have heard on any other format comes even remotely close. These two titles have to be heard to be believed. My favourite two music titles are both on Blu-ray: Legends of Jazz - DolbyTrueHD (not sure of bitrate) Chris Botti Live - PCM 96k/24bit. The recent Pirates releases were 24bit, and I do think it makes a difference. Several of my Blu-ray titles are 48k/16bit, but some are 24bit. I do however feel that on music titles in particular then PCM does have the edge. They both can sound excellent, and for movie soundtracks there is little to choose, in my opinion. ![]()
